There is something wrong with the pidgin in the latest two month. It can not connect to yahoo server. It seemed something wrong in the server. My friend suggested me to change the pager server in the pidgin setting.
Go to Account, click manage. Then in the account you usually use, change the pager server to one of these :
1. mcs.msg.yahoo.com
2. scs.msg.yahoo.com
3. scsa.msg.yahoo.com
4. scsb.msg.yahoo.com
5. scsc.msg.yahoo.com
6. scsd.msg.yahoo.com
7. scse.msg.yahoo.com
8. scsf.msg.yahoo.com
9. scsg.msg.yahoo.com
10. scsh.msg.yahoo.com
11. cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com
and secondary :
1. relay.msg.yahoo.com
2. vcs.msg.yahoo.com
3. vcs1.msg.yahoo.com
4. vcs2.msg.yahoo.com
And my piding worked again.
